Stubicke Toplice

Stubicke Toplice is an old health resort located 40 km north of Zagreb that has been visited for centuries, with today's spa founded in 1811. The healing thermal water of Stubica spa, ranging from 43 to 69°C, abounds in minerals, such as magnesium, sodium, zinc, iodine, calcium, barium, potassium, carbonates, sulphates, etc.

The extremely rich composition, together with fresh mountain air and preserved natural surroundings, improves postoperative, posttraumatic and other medical conditions and cures a good number of diseases. Among them are injuries of the joints and spine, rheumatism, nervous system disorders, vascular system surgeries.

Treatments and therapies in Stubicke Toplice are offered by the medical rehabilitation centre and the Matija Gubec Hotel that are both equipped with outdoor and indoor pools, baths, gyms and provide peloid, paraffin, electro and hydrotherapy.
