Makarska is a small Dalmatian town with nearly 14,000 citizens. This beautiful resort is located in the very south of Croatia on a picturesque horseshoe bay washed by Adriatic Sea. About 60 kilometers lay between Makarska and Split. Impressive Biokovo Mountain protects Makarska from the north. Two green peninsulas – Osejava and St. Peter fringe the Makarska harbour.
